RFI for Lower Snake River Dams Study Service

The Washington State government authority is seeking information to conduct a comprehensive study on the Lower Snake River Dams. The agency needs to examine the electricity generation, transmission, energy storage, energy efficiency, and other grid services required to maintain a reliable and resilient electric system. This initiative aims to solve the problem of maintaining grid reliability while meeting the state's statutory and regulatory requirements for clean electricity generation. The scope of work requires building upon previously completed analysis to develop a comprehensive study. The selected partner will perform resource portfolio development, regional system change assessment, and greenhouse gas emissions analysis. Additionally, the agency requires project facilitation and coordination services, which can be performed either onsite or offsite. Only organizations based onshore in the United States are eligible to participate in this opportunity. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish budget expectations and project feasibility.
