Planning Technical Support Services

The Georgia Department of Transportation in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a vendor to provide statewide planning technical support services on an as-needed basis. The agency requires these services to support its statewide travel demand forecasting model, which is utilized for all statewide transportation planning activities as well as county-wide, multi-county, and corridor transportation plans. The selected vendor will solve the agency's need for ongoing model maintenance, structural updates, and comprehensive project management. The scope of work covers travel demand forecasting model development and updates, which includes modifying structural and input data such as socio-economic data, network changes, and Traffic Analysis Zone revisions. The vendor must also handle expansions to the modeling area, adjustments to trip rates or modal choices, development of zonal socioeconomic data, and the creation of project lists for various model scenarios. Additionally, the agency requires the coordination of plan updates, travel demand model update schedules, and the facilitation of regular coordination meetings to discuss progress and ad hoc requests. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based entirely in the United States. The agency requires all contract work to be performed offsite. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 29, 2026, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and pricing structure.
