Traffic Study Services

The Borough of New Hope, Pennsylvania, requires professional traffic study services to assess local traffic and pedestrian patterns. The agency is seeking field investigations and observations to verify the operational conditions of traffic signal equipment, as well as the placement, types, and conditions of traffic-related signage. Additionally, the project covers the observation of traffic and pedestrian signal operations, vehicle and pedestrian response times, and movement patterns. The selected provider must conduct field investigations on traffic and pedestrian flow, collect traffic data using automatic traffic recorders and turning movement counts, and perform technical analysis on the collected data. This analysis must include comprehensive summaries of traffic volume, speed, and vehicle classifications. The agency is requesting that all performance of the work take place offsite. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to compete for this contract. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 27, 2026.
