The government authority located in New York is seeking a qualified firm to provide comprehensive background check services to support its academic and research missions. The agency requires these services to ensure a safe and secure environment populated by qualified employees. The selected firm will perform a wide range of background checks to verify candidate histories and credentials. The scope of work covers identity checks, social security number traces, employment verifications, and education and degree verifications. The agency also requires professional license, certification, and credential verifications, alongside department of motor vehicles driving record checks. Additionally, the firm must conduct criminal history record searches at the county, state, federal, and national levels, as well as sex and violent offender registry checks. The agency limits eligibility to onshore United States organizations only. The performing firm will conduct all work offsite. Bidders may submit their proposals digitally via email or through the online portal, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to establish budget parameters.
