Employment and Income Verification Services

The District of Columbia Housing Authority is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive employment and income verification services. These services will support the Housing Choice Voucher Program and other housing assistance programs administered by the agency. The agency needs to verify current and historical employment, wages, salary, self-employment income, unemployment benefits, and other income sources to make accurate eligibility determinations. The scope of work requires the selected provider to verify and report specific data points for applicants, participants, and household members. This information includes employer names and addresses, employment dates, employment status, job titles, pay rates, gross earnings, payment frequency, and additional compensation such as overtime or bonuses. The provider must also report unemployment benefits, other employment-related income sources, and any discrepancies identified during the verification process. The agency limits eligibility to United States organizations, and the selected contractor will perform all work offsite. The contract period will span one year, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 15, 2026.
