Facilities and Maintenance Services

The H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa, Florida is seeking facilities and maintenance services, specifically focusing on the feasibility, pre-construction, and services phase of a project. The agency requires a vendor to perform information gathering, assessment, and synthesis to identify construction constraints, establish project visioning, design workflows, program space, and validate budgets. This phase also involves identifying alternate solution variables to lay the groundwork for life cycle cost analysis and performance criteria. The scope of work covers site visits and investigations of existing conditions to identify constraints that could impact costs or schedules. The selected vendor must participate in a kick-off meeting with the owner’s project team and representative to review guidelines, design requirements, milestones, and the responsibility matrix. Additionally, the agency requires assistance in identifying due diligence work, establishing scope definitions, setting Target Value costs for overall construction and individual trades, and developing a project schedule that identifies the critical path and long-lead items. Eligible bidders must perform the work offsite and be located onshore within the United States. The agency is establishing a contract period of one year. For the budget, the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the cost of these services.
