Live Scan Biometrics Screening Instruments Supplies

The Kane County Sheriff's Office in St. Charles, Illinois, is seeking a vendor to provide and install three Live Scan biometrics screening instruments. The agency needs to upgrade its biometric capture capabilities to ensure seamless integration with Records Management Systems and Jail Management Systems. This procurement will solve the agency's need for modern, FBI-certified fingerprint and palm print capturing technology that complies with Illinois state and federal reporting standards. The scope of work covers the delivery of three Live Scan biometrics screening instruments featuring palm and ten-print capture at 500 dpi, certified by the FBI for flat, roll, and palm prints. Each system must include a Windows 11 desktop computer with a twenty-two-inch monitor, an Intel Ultra i5 processor, sixteen gigabytes of RAM, a five-hundred-gigabyte solid-state drive, a keyboard, and a mouse. The vendor must also provide Accurate-ID photo capture software and hardware for mugshots, Illinois law and civil livescan software, print client software with a specialized algorithm, and an FBI-certified Lexmark MS821dn printer with a universal tray. The selected provider must perform local onsite installation and training in St. Charles, Illinois. The agency also requires annual extended maintenance on the software to keep the systems current with new state statutes, Illinois state specifications, and FBI specifications, inclusive of technical support and software updates. Only United States organizations are eligible to compete for this contract, and all performance of the work must occur onsite.
