The Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority in Akron, Ohio is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive postage and mailing services for its daily operations and monthly communications. The agency needs to streamline its mailing processes, ensure same-day delivery to the United States Postal Service, and manage large-scale monthly rent statement distributions. This contract will span a period of three years to ensure continuous and reliable service. The scope of work requires the provider to print approximately 2,950 rent statements monthly on perforated paper using an electronic file provided by the agency. The provider must then fold, stuff into vendor-supplied window envelopes, and presort these 2,950 statements each month. Additionally, the provider must perform daily mail pickups at various designated agency locations, presort approximately 11,530 pieces of outgoing mail per month, and handle ad-hoc folding, stuffing, and color or black-and-white printing for special departmental projects. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The provider will perform all printing, folding, stuffing, and presorting work offsite, while daily mail pickups will occur at the specified agency locations.
