Professional Instructional ELA Coaching and Learning Service

The North Providence School Department in Rhode Island is seeking professional instructional English Language Arts coaching and learning services to support its schools. The district needs to develop grade-level team leaders, coaches, and school administrators as instructional leaders within their respective buildings. To solve implementation challenges, the selected vendor will facilitate walkthroughs to collect curriculum data, which will inform subsequent discussions and action plans. The scope of work requires the vendor to conduct strategic planning meetings with district literacy coaches to align efforts and plan for district-wide focus areas based on walkthrough data. The vendor will co-plan and facilitate instructional walkthroughs alongside teacher leads, department chairs, and school leaders, focusing on the implementation of the identified ELA curricula. These walkthroughs will specifically analyze the depth of writing, critical thinking, academic discourse, student engagement, and differentiation for multilingual learners. The project covers fifteen half-day grade-level meetings, consisting of three meetings held at each participating school. During these sessions, grade-level teams will review walkthrough data, reflect on instructional strengths and needs, and identify classroom trends. Staff will engage in discussions regarding instructional practices and student engagement to determine actionable next steps. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based entirely in the United States. The district requires all performance of the work to occur offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or through the designated online portal, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget.
