Senior Business Analyst Services

A government authority located in British Columbia is seeking a senior business analyst to lead both the business analysis and project management of a strategic executive reporting initiative. The agency needs a resource to lead stakeholder engagement to elicit, validate, and translate business requirements into clear, testable user stories aligned to business needs. This resource will also own and maintain a prioritized product backlog aligned to strategic objectives to drive continuous improvement in reporting through iterative delivery and early quick wins. The scope of work requires end-to-end project management, including planning, scheduling, risk and issue management, capacity alignment, and status reporting to sponsors and leadership. The selected resource must plan and manage delivery in an incremental or agile fashion, while supporting change management to enable successful rollout and adoption of new capabilities. The agency expects all performance of the work to be conducted offsite. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore Canadian organizations. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this initiative. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 12, 2026.
