The Town of Vail, Colorado, requires a qualified design-build contractor to deliver a complete and fully operational show lighting system for Dobson Arena. The agency is seeking to transform the arena into a more dynamic entertainment and event venue. The new lighting system must support sporting events, community events, entertainment use, and special event programming. The selected contractor must handle the design, engineering, coordination, installation, programming, testing, commissioning, training, and closeout services for the project. The scope of work includes coordinating work sequencing, deliveries, access, lifts, staging, and shutdowns with the owner and the broader project team. The contractor must also identify and manage all interfaces with other arena systems, including the scoreboard, audio, controls, power, data and communications, rigging, and mounting. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The contractor must perform all work onsite at the arena in Vail, Colorado. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. The agency will host a pre-proposal meeting on June 16, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 18, 2026.
