RFI for Community Works Program Host Sites Services

The City and County of San Francisco is seeking information from vendors to provide community works program host sites services. The agency needs structured, supervised host site assignments that offer participants meaningful tasks to support the development of marketable skills. These assignments must address unmet community needs and must not displace any existing workers. The scope of work requires host sites to support participants in completing their required monthly service hours, which includes offering reasonable opportunities to make up any missed hours. Vendors must provide feedback to support participant performance appraisals every six months to reflect engagement and readiness for potential referral to other work activities. The agency requires scheduling flexibility, a range of physical and skill-based assignments, and a diverse selection of host site types and sectors. Eligible respondents must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency allows the performance of the work to occur offsite. Interested parties must submit their responses digitally via email or through an online portal. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this initiative. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 15, 2026.
