Board Governance Consultant Services

The Missouri-based government authority in Jefferson is seeking a Board Governance Consultant to provide specialized services to its Board of Trustees and staff. The agency is trying to ensure effective leadership and compliance through structured governance reviews, evaluations, and onboarding support. The scope of work requires the selected consultant to review and update the Board Governance Charter and Policy during the first year of engagement and every three years thereafter. The consultant must also conduct annual Board self-evaluations and annual Executive Director evaluations. Additionally, the agency requires board orientation and onboarding services on an as-needed basis, alongside attendance at Board meetings at least once per year or more frequently as required.
