Wildfire Response Plan Development Services

The Lac Du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians in Wisconsin is seeking a vendor to develop a comprehensive wildfire response plan. The tribe needs to identify priority mitigation projects that will reduce wildfire risks to life, property, and critical infrastructure. The selected partner will also establish a monitoring and evaluation framework that includes retreatment schedules for one, three, and five years, alongside metrics for ongoing review. The scope of work requires mapping services utilizing software and programs acceptable to the tribe. These deliverables must include layered maps delineating the wildland-population area interface, treatment areas, wildfire history, water supply gaps, and evacuation routes, along with all necessary subscriptions and licenses. The vendor must also provide GIS data in the form of shapefiles, geodatabases, metadata, and PDFs, as well as an implementation roadmap detailing funding pathways, partner roles, and near, mid, and long-term projects. Additionally, the project covers the creation of public-facing brochures and fact sheets for local residents. Eligible bidders must be located onshore within the United States. The performing vendor must complete the work onsite in Lac Du Flambeau, Wisconsin. The tribe accepts digital proposal submissions via email or through their online portal, and the agency is currently requesting budget proposals to determine the project cost.
