Design Engineering and Environmental Services

The Humboldt Bay Harbor, Recreation and Conservation District in Eureka, California is seeking a vendor to provide design engineering and environmental services. The agency needs to address project planning, engineering designs, traffic studies, land surveying, geotechnical studies, and environmental studies. This initiative also requires preparing project reports, other applicable documentation, and miscellaneous project management services on an as-needed basis. The scope of work covers coordinating survey tasks, including scheduling ground and aerial topographic, boundary, and construction stakeout surveys. The selected vendor must handle document preparation, title reviews, and the provision of record as-built drawings of the completed work. Additionally, the project requires redesigning existing traffic signals and signal phases, as well as assessing other intersection alternatives such as roundabouts. The agency requires the preparation of a local hydraulic study form containing all hydrologic and hydraulic data pertaining to the project area. The vendor must also prepare a visual impact assessment addressing all potential visual impacts within the project area and provide construction support services. This contract will span a period of three years, and the performance of the work will take place offsite. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposal pricing rather than providing a set budget.
