RFI for Community Works Program Host Sites Services

The City and County of San Francisco is seeking information from vendors to provide structured, supervised community works program host sites services. The agency needs host sites that offer meaningful tasks to help participants develop marketable skills while addressing unmet community needs. These assignments must not displace any existing workers and must offer scheduling flexibility alongside a diverse range of physical and skill-based sectors. Selected host sites must support participants in completing their required monthly service hours, which includes offering reasonable opportunities to make up any missed hours. The agency also requires vendors to provide feedback for participant performance appraisals every six months to reflect engagement and readiness for potential referral to additional work activities. Eligible organizations must be based onshore within the United States, and the performance of the work will take place offsite. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this initiative. Interested vendors can submit their responses digitally via email or through an online portal. The agency has scheduled a pre-bid meeting for June 15, 2026, to discuss the program requirements.
