Conductivity analyzers require a zero check and a one-point calibration. Turbidity analyzers must undergo a multi-point calibration. For chlorine analyzers, the agency requires the use of an independent grab sample method for reading comparison. Gas detectors measuring lower explosive limits and hydrogen sulfide require a mandatory bump test prior to calibration, with the recording of both before and after readings.
