The Seattle, Vermont government authority is seeking a qualified United States-based organization to provide comprehensive hospitality legal services. The authority requires legal expertise to navigate complex federal, state, and local laws affecting hospitality and public assembly facilities, manage operational risk, and draft policies. The selected legal partner will work offsite from their own offices to support the authority's hospitality and facility operations. The scope of work covers general legal advisory services, contract management, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, and hospitality-focused real estate matters. Contractual duties include reviewing, drafting, and negotiating agreements for events, facility use, hotel room blocks, food and beverage services, destination management, audio-visual production, sponsorships, and marketing. Regulatory oversight requires ensuring compliance with liquor licensing, health department rules, and fire marshal safety regulations. The authority also requires legal support for resolving contract, patron, exhibitor, and vendor disputes, as well as handling litigation. Real estate legal tasks include managing lease agreements, license agreements, easements, access agreements, and legal matters related to facility expansion or renovation projects. Only United States-based organizations are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The authority is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for these services.
