Organic Food Waste Processing Services

The Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport Board is seeking organic food waste processing services to manage waste generated across its facilities in Fort Worth, Texas. The Board requires daily collection of organic waste from terminal concessions, airline clubs, hotels, and Board locations. The selected contractor must transport and offload this waste at a facility capable of processing both pre-consumer and post-consumer organic waste into compost. The scope of work covers the collection of diverse organic waste streams, including vegetables, fruits, legumes, eggshells, grains, coffee grounds, and coffee filters. The processing facility must also handle animal products such as dairy, meat, fish, shellfish, and bones. All collection, transportation, and offloading activities must occur onsite at the designated Board locations and the processing facility. Eligibility is restricted to United States organizations, and the performance of the work must take place onshore. The Board is requesting proposals to determine the budget and pricing structure for these services. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this opportunity by June 19, 2026, and the Board will host a pre-bid meeting on June 12, 2026.
