Printing Services for the Division of Licensing

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Division of Licensing in Tallahassee, Florida is seeking a vendor to provide professional printing services for licensing materials. The agency needs to solve the logistical challenge of producing high-volume, high-quality application packets and forms that meet strict technical specifications for scanning and readability. The project requires the production of sixty thousand total units of specific licensing documents. The scope of work covers printing Class D Security Officer License Application Instruction packets and Class D Security Officer License Application forms. The instruction packets must be exactly eight and a half inches by eleven inches, consisting of six pages printed on three double-sided sheets using fifty-five pound offset or twenty pound register bond paper. The application forms must be printed on twenty-four pound OCR paper compatible with a Kodak I5200 duplex color scanner. All printing must utilize black ink on the front and back of all sheets, and the vendor must ensure that no ink bleeds through the paper. The agency limits eligibility to onshore organizations located within the United States. All performance of the printing work must take place offsite at the vendor's facility.
