Language Interpretation and Translation Services

The agency is seeking a contractor to provide language interpretation and translation services to minimize language barriers with the public. The project covers telephonic language interpreting services, state-wide on-site language interpreting services, and written-document language translation services. These services must deliver verbal interpretation, word-for-word documentary translation, and verbal-delivery sight translation in a maximum number of languages for both oral and written communications. The scope of work requires interpreters who possess experience and training in the operations of legal proceedings and are fluent in both languages involved. The agency notes that the majority of needed interpretation services will not be legal in nature, as requests may also pertain to general informational exchanges and communications regarding construction projects. Translators must possess current professional certification plus a minimum of two years of experience in all phases of language translations. The contractor must make verbal telephonic language interpretation services available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays. The telephone system used for these services must provide clear telephone connections, minimize connection time, and offer conference-calling capabilities. The performance of the work will take place both offsite and onsite. Eligibility rules restrict participation to onshore contractors located within the United States only. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget, and the contract period will be for one year. A pre-bid meeting will be held on June 23, 2026, and all questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than July 1, 2026.
