Grant Writing Consultant Services

The County is seeking a grant writing consultant to support and aid in securing funding resources to continue and increase its administered operations and programs. The selected consultant will research and track all appropriate federal, local, state, and private entity funding sources, and then advise the County on which sources to approach. To build strong and competitive proposals, the consultant will work with County staff across various departments to interpret guidelines and gather necessary information, while also identifying and engaging potential partners with overlapping missions. The scope of work requires the consultant to write grant proposals in time to meet deadlines and prepare them for submission. The principal of the responding organization must attend monthly grant meetings with designated County representatives, as well as any other meetings necessary to accomplish the work. Additionally, the consultant will prepare and electronically submit monthly status tracking reports, compile a yearly report on the successes and weaknesses of all awarded and rejected grants, and oversee other administrative services necessary to meet grant requirements. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. The consultant will perform all work offsite over a contract period of one year. The County has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to define the cost. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 18, 2026.
