The Bi-State Development Agency of the Missouri-Illinois Metropolitan District, a government authority located in Missouri, is seeking qualified legal firms to provide comprehensive legal services. The agency is trying to secure specialized legal counsel across multiple disciplines to support its ongoing operations, transit initiatives, and administrative functions. The scope of work covers general legal services, employment and labor law, intellectual property, and worker compensation litigation. The agency also requires legal expertise in real estate, environmental law, fixed guideway systems, and economic development and implementation law. Additionally, the selected legal counsel will handle federal grant funding issues related to the Federal Transit Administration, bond counsel services, and vehicle or bus accident litigation services, including conflict counsel. The contract period for these legal services will be for one year. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires all performance of the legal work to be conducted offsite. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and cost structure for these services.
