Optometry Services

The Maryland-based government authority in Baltimore is seeking a vendor to provide optometry services for youth within its care system. This system manages youth undergoing probation, home detention, monitoring, community service, victim restitution, and counseling, as well as those requiring shelter, detention, or residential placement due to safety risks or housing instability. The agency needs a provider to assist with the provision and oversight of optometry care for youth at the shelter, coordinating directly with agency staff to manage youth care. The facility health centers operate under the daily management of a Nursing Supervisor who handles the clinic schedule. A health administrator oversees the administrative aspects of somatic health care services and serves as the contract monitor for the optometry care delivery. The agency requires the performance of these optometry services to take place offsite. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is requesting proposals to determine the cost of services.
