Physician and Medical Director Services

The Mississippi State Veterans Home in Collins, Mississippi, requires continuous physician and medical director services to ensure comprehensive medical care for its residents. The agency needs to establish immediate and ongoing medical oversight to maintain and rehabilitate the health of residents admitted to the home. To solve this, the agency is seeking a qualified provider to deliver 24-hour, year-round medical coverage, including daily weekday visits starting no earlier than 7:00 a.m. and constant on-call availability. The scope of work covers performing timely medical assessments, physical examinations, and establishing care plans for all newly admitted residents. The medical director must secure physician orders for immediate care and complete a medical history and physical examination within a timeframe appropriate to each resident's condition. Additionally, the service provider must conduct medical reviews every 30 days for the first 90 days following admission, every 60 days thereafter, and perform annual physicals and progress notes for each resident. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The selected provider must perform all medical services onsite at the facility in Collins, Mississippi.
