Affordable Housing Development Services

The Narragansett Housing Authority is seeking a vendor to provide affordable housing development services in Narragansett, Rhode Island. The agency needs to develop the maximum possible number of either homeownership residential housing units or year-round rental units. This project aims to solve the local shortage of affordable housing by creating a mix of single-bedroom and multi-bedroom units on the designated site. The scope of work requires that two-thirds of the developed units be sold or rented to households at eighty percent of the Area Median Income or less. The remaining one-third of the units must be sold or rented to households earning up to one hundred percent of the Area Median Income. Additionally, the agency requires a high percentage of the dwelling units to be designed for families of more than one individual, with a minimum of two bedrooms per family unit. Bidders must propose the specific number of single-bedroom and multi-bedroom units they plan to develop. Eligible bidders must perform all work onsite and be located onshore within the United States. The agency is accepting digital proposal submissions via email or online, and bidders must submit their own budget proposals as the agency is looking for pricing proposals.
