Nassau Community College in Garden, New York is seeking a vendor to provide engraved diplomas and accessories supplies. The college requires approximately 3,000 diplomas per year to recognize its graduates. The contract period for this agreement will span one year. The requested diplomas must measure eight inches by ten inches and conform to a specific design sample. The design requires a gold and blue engraved college seal, measuring one and two-thirds inches in diameter, which must intersect with a three-eighths-inch raised border and gold line. The three words in the heading of the diplomas reading "agency" must be engraved in black with a curved Old English heading style. The paper must also feature a grosser's finish, a smoothness factor of 250-230, a brightness factor of 80-90, and one hundred percent opacity. The college requires the diplomas to be printed using fully steel engraved plates of the finest bank note quality, and process plates of any kind are not acceptable.
