Emergency Staffing Services

The Cumberland County government authority in Virginia is seeking a vendor to provide emergency staffing services for its Emergency Medical Services. The selected contractor will provide pro rata staffing to work within collective crews consisting of volunteer personnel, county employees, and contractor personnel. The agency requires the contractor to assign an Infection Control Officer to maintain a liaison with the Operational Medical Director, the health and safety officer, the infection control representative at health care facilities, and other health care regulatory agencies. Additionally, the contractor must provide operational and administrative support relating directly to patient transport and billing matters. The contract period will span one year. Performance of the work will take place both onsite in Cumberland, Virginia, and offsite. Eligible bidders must be located onshore within the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project.
