Health Officer Services

The Fargo, North Dakota local government authority is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive health officer services. The selected health officer will monitor disease outbreaks on local, national, and global levels while exercising the powers of the board of health under its direct supervision. Additionally, the officer may inspect schools for cleanliness, ventilation, and safety, reporting any unsanitary conditions to the board of health. The designated officer will also investigate suspected contamination in public water and ice supplies, initiating condemnation proceedings when necessary. The authority grants the officer the power to inspect any location with potential health-threatening conditions and take any action required to protect public health and safety. All performance of the contract work must occur onsite in Fargo, North Dakota. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore vendors located within the United States. The agency is requesting proposals to determine the budget and will award a contract for a period of one year.
