The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority in Missouri is seeking qualified legal firms to provide comprehensive legal services. The agency requires expertise across nine distinct areas, including general legal services, employment and labor law, intellectual property, and worker compensation litigation. Additionally, the selected providers will handle real estate, environmental, fixed guideway, economic development and implementation law, as well as bond counsel services and federal grant funding issues related to the Federal Transit Administration. The scope of work also covers vehicle and bus accident litigation services, including serving as conflict counsel for bus accident litigation. The agency is structuring the contract for a performance period of one year. All contracted legal services must be performed offsite. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and pricing structure for these services.
