School Violence Intervention and Prevention Support Services

The Oakland, California government authority is seeking school violence intervention and prevention support services through the School Violence Intervention and Prevention Program. The agency aims to establish safe, supportive, and healing-centered school environments by addressing the root causes of student conflict, violence, chronic disengagement, and trauma. The selected vendor will deliver integrated student support services utilizing Violence Interrupters, Life Coaches, and Gender-Based Violence Specialists at designated school sites. The scope of work requires collaboration with school administrators, student support teams, culture and climate staff, families, and community partners to assist students at elevated risk of violence involvement or victimization. The program prioritizes relationship-building, conflict mediation, mentorship, intensive case management, and coordinated service delivery to enhance student safety, improve school climate, and strengthen connections to school and community support. The agency is contracting these offsite services for a one-year period. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and allows digital submission of responses via email or online.
