Professional Design Services

The City of Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking professional design services to conduct site assessments and engineering for a localized development project. The agency requires a comprehensive evaluation of existing conditions, including topographic and boundary surveys, alongside hydrologic and geomorphic mapping of rivers, floodplains, groundwater, and springheads. Additionally, the selected provider must perform geotechnical engineering, subsurface investigations, soil classification, and groundwater level evaluations. The scope of work also spans environmental planning, compliance documentation, and hydraulic modeling with a specific focus on springhead protection. The agency requires conceptual designs for multiple alternatives that can accommodate fifteen to twenty-five people, specifically addressing tower location, height, orientation, trail alignments, and bird loop systems. Following the conceptual phase, the project moves into schematic design for refined site layouts and detailed landscape architecture and environmental design. Eligible bidders must be United States organizations, and the contracted work must be performed onsite in Las Vegas. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for this initiative.
