Employee Benefits Consulting Services

A government authority located in Orlando, Florida is seeking an employee benefits insurance consulting firm to provide oversight and guidance for its self-insured health plan and other employee insurance products. The agency needs to solve the challenge of managing, interpreting, and evaluating its health plan benefits and insurance offerings. To address this, the agency requires a consultant with experience providing services to public sector and private employers with health insurance programs of similar size to the district. The scope of work requires the selected firm to assist in the development, market research, and evaluation of requests for proposals for the district’s health plan and other employee insurance products. The consultant must assist the agency in interpreting health plan benefits, including eligibility and benefit interpretation. Additionally, the firm must attend and report at various agency meetings, including quarterly trustees meetings, monthly operations meetings, monthly fringe benefits meetings, and annual vendor performance guarantee meetings. The consultant will also collaborate with the agency wellness department to develop, facilitate, and evaluate the outcomes of an employee benefit survey. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of the work to be conducted offsite.
