Fire Alarm Monitoring Service

The University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri is seeking a vendor to provide continuous fire alarm monitoring services from a supervising station for the building fire alarm panels referenced in the Master Fire Alarm Accounts. The agency is currently updating all of its fire alarm control panels with IP communications. To resolve the transition to a new provider, the agency requires a one-time service to re-program every communication device to redirect all signals and calls to the vendor's supervising central station. The scope of work requires dual-path communications with the building fire alarm control panels, utilizing an IP data port as the primary path and a cellular communicator as the secondary path. The central supervising station service must comply with all applicable provisions of NFPA 72, which includes providing all alarm, supervisory, and trouble signal monitoring, re-transmission, associated record keeping and reporting, and testing and maintenance. Bidders must include the fees for providing cellular services within their unit pricing. The agency is limiting eligibility to onshore organizations based in the United States. Performance of the monitoring work will take place offsite. The agency is looking for proposals to establish pricing, and the resulting contract period will run for one year. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 24, 2026.
