Camden County College in Blackwood, New Jersey is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive background check services to ensure the institution hires qualified employees. The agency requires these background checks to mitigate criminal risk and assess creditworthiness for specific positions. The selected vendor must perform all operations offsite at their own corporate location. The scope of work requires the vendor to conduct criminal risk assessments, including up to three county criminal court record searches covering seven years, federal district criminal court record searches, and a fifty-state name-based criminal history record check. The agency also requires a nationwide database search of criminal history including a sex offender registry search of at least seven years, a multi-state sex offender registry search, and international criminal searches. Credit worthiness reports must be provided only when job-related and consistent with business necessity in accordance with applicable law. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to submit proposals for this opportunity. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and cost structure for these services. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this procurement no later than June 16, 2026.
