Fire Alarm Monitoring Service

The University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri is seeking a vendor to provide continuous supervising station fire alarm monitoring services for the building fire alarm panels referenced in the Master Fire Alarm Accounts. The agency is currently updating all fire alarm control panels with IP communications to facilitate this monitoring. The selected provider must resolve the transition by performing a one-time reprogramming of every communication device to redirect all signals and calls to the vendor's supervising central station. The scope of work requires dual-path communications with the building fire alarm control panels, utilizing an IP data port as the primary path and a cellular communicator as the secondary path. The agency requires the central supervising station service to comply with all applicable provisions of NFPA 72, which includes providing all alarm, supervisory, and trouble signal monitoring, re-transmission, associated record keeping, reporting, testing, and maintenance. Unit pricing from the vendor must encompass all fees associated with providing the required cellular services. The agency limits eligibility to onshore organizations based in the United States of America. The performance of the requested monitoring work will take place offsite over a contract period of one year. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and requires all questions regarding this opportunity to be submitted no later than June 24, 2026.
