Interpreting and Translation Services

The agency is seeking a vendor to provide oral and written interpretation, translation, and translation review services on an as-needed basis. The project addresses the need for faithful communication by requiring interpreters to convey the content and spirit of the speaker using language most readily understood by the clients. The scope of work covers consecutive or simultaneous interpretation, as well as translation and review services, depending on the circumstances of each assignment. The requested services include oral, sign language, and deaf-blind interpretation to assist individuals who are deaf or hearing impaired. Translators and interpreters must be completely fluent in both English and the targeted foreign language requested for the assignment. Personnel must be versatile, flexible, skilled professionals, as they may have access to private documents, police records, and medical files. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of all work to occur offsite. Bidders must submit their responses digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
