Surveying and Mapping Services

The Columbia County government authority in Lake City, Florida is seeking a professional surveyor to assist with land acquisition activities and various county projects. The selected surveyor will perform engineering and surveying work, collect field data, conduct file and deed research, and review site plan submittals for compliance with the county land development code and other local ordinances. The agency also requires the surveyor to coordinate additional project-dependent services, including geotechnical and environmental services. The scope of work covers providing all certifications, surveys, calculations, drawings, sketches, plats, maps, and descriptions required for special permits from regulatory government bodies. The surveyor must perform survey plot work in Auto CADD Civil 3D-2008 based on the NAVD88 Datum and deliver certified As-Built Record Drawings. Additionally, the surveyor will review submittals made by third parties to ensure compliance with county and state requirements. Eligibility is limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency allows the performance of the work to be completed offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or through the online portal. The agency is requesting budget proposals from bidders to establish the cost of services.
