Freelance Content Contributor Services for Reading and Language Arts

The agency is seeking freelance content contributor services for reading and language arts to enhance the language, tone, and structure of educational materials. The project requires improving readability for target grade levels, ensuring age-appropriateness, and incorporating culturally responsive practices to address language diversity. The selected vendor must preserve original learning objectives, instructional intent, and content accuracy while removing grammatical errors, redundant phrasing, and culturally insensitive or biased language. The scope of work covers reading passages including fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and drama, which must match or improve upon the structure and word count of the original content. These passages will be integrated into lesson documents such as slide decks, demonstration of learning materials, student activities, learner, secured/securing, advanced, enriched materials, and answer keys. Additionally, the agency requires the development and refinement of assessment items like multiple choice and constructed responses, as well as instructional supports including vocabulary lists, glossaries, and anchor charts. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States of America. The agency requires all performance of the work to be conducted offsite.
