Annexation Services

The City of Joplin, Missouri is seeking professional services to support the annexation of properties adjacent to its corporate limits. The agency needs to address the administrative, analytical, and community outreach challenges associated with expanding its municipal boundaries. The selected provider will conduct data collection and analysis, review existing corporate limits, and engage with stakeholders throughout the process. The scope of work covers the development of communication plans and marketing materials for meetings with property owners, residents, and business owners. The agency requires assistance in responding to inquiries and objections, as well as support during City Council meetings and public hearings. Additionally, the provider will help coordinate boundary updates with County and State agencies, assist in preparing required statutory notices, petitions, and resolutions, and help obtain legal descriptions for the subject properties. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency will allow the selected provider to perform the work offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and they must include their proposed budget as the agency is currently looking for proposal pricing.
