Media Relations Assistant Services

The United States Attorney's Office is seeking a contractor to provide media relations assistant services to educate the community and promote the agency's litigative programs. The agency needs to solve the problem of effectively communicating its mission, goals, objectives, and achievements to the public. To address this, the agency requires a comprehensive district-level media relations program utilizing radio, television, print, and social media. The scope of work includes planning, writing, and editing news releases on agency cases, indictments, change of pleas, convictions, and sentencings. The contractor must plan, script, and coordinate press conferences for priority programs, training, community outreach, and case results. Additional duties involve drafting and placing approved op-ed articles, identifying speaking opportunities for agency personnel, preparing press packets, digesting weekly media exposure, and evaluating the overall effectiveness of the media strategy. This opportunity is set aside entirely for small businesses, and eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The contractor will perform all work offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or through the online portal, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
