Municipal Planning Strategy and Related By-Law Plan Review Service

The Town is seeking a qualified planning consultant to undertake a comprehensive review of the municipality's planning strategy and related by-laws. The agency needs to identify regulatory gaps and align its planning documents with current standards through a targeted gap analysis. The project requires the selected consultant to deliver a legislative and policy alignment scan, a background research and best practices report, and a preliminary gap analysis. The scope of work also includes the creation of a draft issues and options report followed by a final issues and options report. The agency requires all contracted work to be performed offsite. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located in Canada. The agency is looking for budget proposals within the submitted bids rather than providing a pre-determined funding limit.
