Staff Training Family Engagement Service

The Orleans Parish School Board in New Orleans, Louisiana, is seeking a vendor to deliver specialized family engagement services and staff training. The agency needs to support Limited English Proficient (LEP) and immigrant families while educating school staff on the immigrant experience. This initiative aims to bridge communication and resource gaps for immigrant families and English learners within the school system. The selected vendor must train families on essential technology literacy competencies, including opening and maintaining email addresses, completing applications, submitting documents, and searching for resources. The scope of work also requires informing families about available services such as healthcare, nutrition assistance, housing rights, legal counsel, early childhood access, and labor rights. Additionally, the vendor must cultivate a working knowledge of these resources within the context of immigration and English learners. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of all work to occur offsite. The contract period will span one year, and the agency is currently looking for budget proposals to determine the cost of these services. The agency will host a virtual pre-bid meeting on June 12, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 16, 2026.
