Business Attraction Consultant Services

The City of Trenton, New Jersey, is seeking a business attraction consultant to draw signature, high-quality businesses to a designated commercial corridor. The agency is trying to fill approximately forty vacant commercial spaces along State Street, about half of which are currently ready for tenants. This initiative builds upon a previously completed demand study, which surveyed over four hundred local residents and workers to identify viable business types. The selected contractor will manage the ongoing outreach process to bring targeted businesses to Trenton using existing and modified prospect lists. The scope of work requires updating and expanding the existing commercial property inventory, although the primary inventory work is already complete. The agency also requires the contractor to assess and produce recruitment materials, such as direct mail postcards, letters, and social media ads, building on materials already created in the first year. Eligible bidders must perform all work offsite and must be located onshore within the United States. The agency is seeking budget proposals from interested parties for a contract period of one year.
