Executive Search and Recruitment Services

The Alexandria, Virginia government authority is seeking executive search and recruitment services to identify candidates for senior leadership positions. The agency needs to fill executive roles including Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and other comparable executive-level positions. The selected consultant will conduct nationwide searches to identify suitable candidates in accordance with provided job specifications. The project requires the consultant to establish a process for obtaining feedback from key partners, stakeholders, staff, residents, and city officials regarding the required duties, skills, knowledge, abilities, and personal traits for each position. The consultant must develop appropriate recruitment criteria reflecting the necessary work experience and personal characteristics, and utilize appropriate recruitment resources to solicit qualified candidates. Additionally, the consultant will coordinate interviews with semi-finalists, the board, and the finalist, and assist with the onboarding of the selected candidate, which includes additional background checks, employment contracts, and press releases. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The consultant must conduct the search in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, executive orders, rules, regulations, and programs. The performance of the work can be conducted onsite or offsite, and the agency will accept digital proposal submissions via email or online. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this initiative. The contract period will span one year.
