Ireland - Tourism Masterplan Services

Waterways Ireland is seeking a qualified onshore vendor based in Ireland to provide comprehensive tourism masterplan services. The agency needs this masterplan to inform strategic planning decisions that will enable its sustainable development and increase its appeal to both domestic and international audiences. The ultimate goal is to establish the agency as a key tourism destination while safeguarding waterway environments and preserving built and cultural heritage. The scope of work requires an evidence-driven evaluation of the agency's current tourism offerings, including its strengths, challenges, needs, and potential opportunities. The selected vendor must identify the critical enablers required to realize the agency's tourism development potential and conduct a strategic, predominantly desk-based assessment of all identified development opportunities. The performance of this work will take place offsite over a contract period of one year. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in Ireland. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and will accept bid submissions digitally via email or through their online portal.
