Third Party Administrator Dental Services

The agency is seeking a third-party administrator to manage dental benefits and handle all associated claims administration. The selected vendor must receive, review, and investigate all claim and provider billing information to determine if services are appropriate and covered under the dental plan. To divert these administrative burdens from agency personnel, the administrator must resolve all claimant inquiries, adjust claims, and issue the necessary instruments to satisfy settlements. The scope of work also requires the administrator to utilize legal services for third-party claims and manage COBRA administration for all current and future enrollees, including members in the fully insured plan. Additionally, the administrator must collect, store, and organize claim exposure data to generate risk management reports, while also providing retiree claims cost data to the agency actuary. The administrator must maintain at least the same level of benefits that the agency currently provides to its members. The agency is issuing a five-year contract for these services. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States, and the performance of all work will take place offsite. The agency is looking for proposals to establish the budget, and bidders may submit their responses digitally via email or online.
