Comprehensive Parks Master Plan Consulting Services

The City of Mt. Angel, Oregon, is seeking comprehensive parks master plan consulting services to develop a new city parks master plan or update the existing 2009 parks and recreation master plan. The agency needs a system-wide approach to establish goals, policies, and guidelines, and to prioritize strategies based on current and future funding scenarios. This master plan will serve as a guiding document for the development, redevelopment, and management of the city's parks, green spaces, recreation facilities, and programs over the next twenty years. The scope of work requires a comprehensive public outreach campaign to address key community issues, alongside a review and assessment of past planning efforts and community demographics. The selected partner must update the inventory of existing parks, provide a conditions report for each park and facility, and identify unmet current and future needs. The project also covers prioritizing park improvements, development, and potential future acquisitions, culminating in the preparation of the final master plan document. Eligibility is restricted to onshore, United States organizations only. The agency allows the performance of the work to be completed offsite.
