Armed and Unarmed Contract Security Services and Employee Protection

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority is seeking armed and unarmed contract security services and employee protection to support post coverage and emergency security needs at various regional facilities on an as-needed basis. The agency needs specialized protective services and secure transportation to ensure the safety and operational continuity of designated key personnel who require enhanced security measures. This protection scope includes advance work, threat assessments, operational planning, and twenty-four-seven close personal security coverage. Eligible bidders must be organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of the contracted work to take place offsite. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this procurement no later than June 25, 2026. The agency is looking for cost proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a pre-established funding limit.
