Psychiatry Access Program Services

The New York State Department of Health in Albany, New York is seeking a vendor to establish and operate a psychiatry access program. Untreated mental health conditions among children, youth, and birthing people currently lead to significant morbidity, mortality, and long-term healthcare system costs. While primary care and community health settings serve as the initial entry point for these patients, frontline clinicians often lack the specialized training required to assess and treat these complex psychiatric conditions. The selected vendor will provide expert psychiatric training and consultative support to prescribers and other mental health clinicians who serve as frontline support in communities. The scope of work requires the vendor to deliver these professional consultation and educational services offsite. The agency is establishing a contract period that will run for a duration of five years. Eligible bidders must be organizations based entirely within the United States. The agency requires bidders to submit their proposals digitally, either through email or an online submission portal. The agency has not disclosed a set budget and is requesting bidders to submit their own pricing proposals for evaluation.
